Poor
elderly people need our help more. Rarely are the poor elderly having people to
visit. Although the government would sometimes send volunteers and members of
social security staff to visit their home, they are still getting not enough help, from cleaning their flat to just talking with
them. It is because they often have few relatives and are difficult to do those for themselves ..

elderly people are precious. They are somebody’s
parents and grandparents. Surely, caring for them can be hard and tiresome and
very often people start thinking about nursing and retirement homes but it’s not the way out. Take a moment to
find out if you could care about them on your own !!
My volunteer
experience has shown me that I can bring joy to older people. Everyone will have to face
having parents and grandparents growing older and becoming dependent on their
children. Dealing with this situation has made me a stronger and be more caring
person !!
